What TimeTrakk actually does

Tracking that fits a real day

The fastest path from “what did I just do?” to a saved entry.

  • A running timer with a clock that ticks on the dashboard, so the entry you're on is never a mystery.
  • Manual entries with a scroll-wheel hour and minute picker built for a phone — 24 hours, 60 minutes, no typing arithmetic.
  • Overnight entries that end after midnight are handled as a shift, not as a negative duration.
  • Edit, split or delete any entry; the totals follow immediately.
  • Everything is dated in your own timezone, not the server's.

Reports that add up

Numbers you can hand to a client or a payroll person without a caveat.

  • Totals in hours and minutes — 16h 33m, never “17 hours”.
  • Break the same period down by project, tag, day or week.
  • Summary and detailed views, with the bar percentages shown to one decimal place so two projects never look identical when they aren't.
  • Date ranges you set, and a weekly summary you can also have emailed.

Overtime banking, if you work it

Optional, and entirely ignorable. If you never work extra hours, nothing here is in your way — projects simply have no limit set.

  • Give a project a weekly or monthly limit; hours past it become banked overtime for that project.
  • The dashboard shows what's left to reach your target this week — with any claim you've made already counted toward it.
  • Claim banked hours and they land on the week you claim them, so the running total stays honest.
  • Every claim keeps its date, project, amount and note, so the balance is auditable rather than remembered.
  • Overtime reports show what was earned, claimed and remains, per project.

Projects and tags

Structure that survives contact with a busy month.

  • Colour-coded projects with their own overtime rules; archive the ones that finish.
  • As many tags per entry as the day actually needed, and reports can group by them.
  • Projects you don't use stop cluttering the pickers without losing their history.

Trakki, an assistant that knows your timesheet

Ask questions about your own records, in plain language.

  • “How much overtime have I earned this month?”, “what did I work on yesterday?”, “how much time went on the redesign last month?” — answered from the database, with the arithmetic done there.
  • It drafts time entries and overtime claims from a sentence, then shows a confirm card. Nothing is written until you accept it.
  • It's a normal assistant for everything else — a question about the weather or a packing list doesn't touch your records.
  • Included AI comes with both plans. On Pro you can attach your own OpenAI key instead for unlimited use and your choice of model.

Your data, your account

Leaving should be as easy as joining.

  • Export a timesheet CSV, a claims CSV or a full JSON backup at any time.
  • Delete your account yourself behind a typed confirmation — every row you own goes with it.
  • Row-level security on every table: your account can only ever read its own records.
  • If a plan lapses the app goes read-only. It never deletes your hours and never holds them hostage.

Not here yet, on purpose

Teams and shared workspaces, a rate card, invoice generation, and native apps are not built. TimeTrakk counts hours and exports them — if you bill clients, the maths happens wherever you already do it. Better to know that now than in month two: it's on the list, but it isn't promised for a date.
